Cabbage Soup

 

This is a true Daniel Fast Soup. It soothes the soul and warms the belly. At the end of the fast add your favorite breakfast sausage to make it a sure family hit!

 

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

dash of Cayenne Pepper

1 large green cabbage

1/2 small red cabbage

2 boxes of organic vegetable broth

4 celery stalks

1 large red onion

1 large white onion

 

Option: 1 cup cooked white rice

 

Shred the green and red cabbage. Dice the celery and onions. Pour broth into soup pot. Bring to a boil. Add all ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Add rice and stir until well mixed. Continue to cook on medium low heat for 30 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!

Montoya’s Peanut Butter Fruit Bite

1 small jar of peanut butter

¼ cup   Welch’s dried mixed fruit

¼ cup   macadamia nuts

¼ cup  raisins

 

Use cup cake baking cups.

Melt peanut butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until creamy. Remove from heat and add additional ingredients and mix well. Drop mixture into cupcake baking cups until ¼ full. Refrigerate and serve.
